Hi! I’m still here! I haven’t checked in with a money date in quite a while, and I’ve slowed content a bit for the summer — but Healthy Rich hasn’t gone anywhere.
I’ve just intentionally given myself space for the past three months, a habit I started a couple of years ago after realizing I go absolutely crazy committing to a full workload in the midst of us Wisconsinites trying to make the most of our few annual weeks of long, sunny days. I’ve also kept busy with my day job, studying Spanish and yet another life transition you’ll read about below the paywall.
I don’t tend to announce changes to my publishing schedule, because I think you’ve all got plenty of interests and obligations that keep you from noting when this newsletter does or doesn’t hit your inbox. But I’ve heard from a few of you in my absence, and I so appreciate that there are readers in this community who think of me and Healthy Rich even when I’m not poking you with an email notification. You’re truly a writer’s dream!
With this newsletter becoming more of a personal project than a business pursuit over this past year, fair warning: Expect fluidity. I can promise to always write to you and to introduce you to other interesting voices in personal finance and beyond — but a strict weekly publishing schedule is an unreasonable commitment for me right now.
That’s why I’ve brought the price of paid subscriptions way down in recent months. I still love writing these money dates that are exclusive for paid subscribers, so you’ll continue to get this perk. And don’t forget you have ongoing access to classes on freelancing and budget-free money management as long as you’re a paid subscriber. I know it’s always tough to choose which creators to support in an environment with so much content coming at you, so I’m super grateful for everyone who continues to support this newsletter as it evolves with me!
💡 A money date is an exercise I crafted for You Don’t Need a Budget. Subscribers can follow along in a private space after the paywall, and I encourage you to steal my questions to guide your own reflections!
