Call for pitches: LGBTQ+ money stories
How has your queer/trans identity affected your relationship with money?
As we venture out of our winter-holiday slumber, I’m excited to connect with more contributors to share your stories with Healthy Rich readers.
Writers and storytellers: Keep an eye out throughout the year for calls for pitches.
In the Healthy Rich newsletter, I’m shining a spotlight on the diversity of our relationships with work and money through essays written by budding writers whose voices we don’t hear enough in personal finance — like women, neurodiverse people, Black writers, trans people and… ultimately? Everyone with a story to tell.
This is your invitation to be part of the conversation.
Send me your pitches on LGBTQ+ money
Queer and trans writers, I want to hear from you! How has your LGBTQ+ identity affected your relationship with work and/or money?
I’m looking for pitches for personal essays around 500 to 1,500 words written by anyone who self-identifies as LGBTQIA2S+, as long as you’re 18 years old or older. Pay is $200 for accepted essays.
We accept contributors from all over the world writing in English.
Don’t respond to this email — I won’t see your pitch!
Please send your pitch in a separate email to pitches@healthyrich.co.
Let me know what you want to write about, why you want to write it and a little about you. If you have any published writing samples, I’d love links to those, too.
I look forward to reading your ideas!
Thanks :)
Dana
