This essay was incredibly relatable. My mother climbed the corporate ladder but was ALWAYS freaking out about money. I think that's all she knew, even though she made a nice living. Her financial literacy advice to me was, "Don't get into credit card debt" and that was it. Of course, I got into credit card debt smh. Thanks for sharing parts of your money journey!
