Money Date No. 8: I love overpriced coffee
Reclaiming freelance workspace, grappling with guzzling gas and journaling my way to a business breakthrough
I tried to write this update for last Friday, and I found myself with absolutely no news. I wanted to make money dates a weekly feature, but there’s not enough going on with my finances to have something new to say that often! How about you? Do your finances seem to change significantly from week to week? Bi-weekly? Month to month?
I do love the chance to reflect. Making myself do these check ins about every other week pushes me to be mindful about my decisions around work and money. Now that I’m settling into some amount of stability, it’ll probably push me to start looking more frequently at my money map and my spending to find something to reflect on. I’m curious to see the effect that level of scrutiny might have on my relationship with money!
