Dana, thanks for the shout-out! I do work according to my energy level, and am appreciative that I have that option. Being self-employed and getting to do all the things, I also like to ask myself "What would feel deeply satisfying right now?" when making a decision about what to do next.
I do work related to my energy level and I am grateful being a business owner so I can do this without feeling guilty nor being boxed into working in a certain time frame :)
I feel like link round-ups are very generous sometimes! I'm perpetually "behind" on newsletters, so having something called up again to read can be helpful. And thanks so much for the shout-out. It's been pure joy working with Patrick for the past year to create some scaffolding for an astro learning path. ✨
Aww it feels so nice to see you read ADVENTURES, friend! It's a different book for me, but one I wrote during a really hard time... and I think that's why I still love it so much (and more than my first, haha). As for your question, I don't feel I can answer it, because I've been self-employed for 10 years—and only ever hired women to help me with various projects, during that time. But being self-employed, I will tell you I have given myself MANY days off because of my cycle—mostly when PMSing. Day 1 and beyond is pretty good for me. But my PMS can be a little rough. If I'm dead tired from the dip in hormones, I let myself REST. It took a few years for me to not feel bad about that, but now it's just part of the... cycle, I guess! I also try to look ahead at my tracking app and not plan live events/interviews when I'm PMSing, because I know I'll want to cancel on the day of, haha.
I’ve gone through this same learning over years of self-employment, too! When I take on employment, I need a job with lots of flexibility so I can take a slow day/week during PMS and day 1-2. A big reason I won’t go back to in-office work.

I love that question!
That's a wonderful idea ... I will keep this for mine 😊

Love that! I love this about being self-employed, too. Having that kind of control of my days is a must for employment, too.
Thank you so much for the shout out! And for all of these awesome resources, may the stars shine on your brilliant work 🌟
Thank you, Patrick!

Love seeing you two team up!
